Well, life likes to kick me in the teeth. I lost my job in December on my mom's birthday. I was completely blindsided. I was laid off because Ettin had not been doing well financially. Luckily I had a bit of a buffer, but I am really going through that fast. I had planned on getting new siding on my house last summer (mine is falling off) but didn't. I'm glad I didn't, this is the money that I have been using.
Well when life gives you lemons....I finally got a new job. I am working at HEB. I am a bagger. I am looking at this as a starting opportunity. I have almost no current job experience and no certificates, training, etc. So hopefully this will be a better pathway for me. Wish me luck.
